Does the talk, interviews and books by the Navy Seals about the operation that killed Osama Bin Laden diminish their heroic actions? Short answer, yes. I am saddened by the environment of sharing information for profit that has now infected out troops, especially the elite forces that are supposed to be to examples of duty, honor and discipline. Do I want to hear these stories, yes of course, but not in a media feeding frenzied way. I guess I am just a throwback to a time when heroic actions were accompanied by humility equal to them.
