Does these houses look familiar? The first house is located in LA on 1428 North Genesee Avenue but of course its better known for its fictional address 1428 Elm Street in Spring-wood Ohio its the house that was used in the famous horror movie Nightmare on Elm Street. The second house you see is on the same road just across the road from it better known as the house where Johnny Depp stared in a famous death scene being eaten by his bed and spit back out. Both houses are now private homes I cant find much on the Johnny depp house lol but the house on 1428 Elm was sold in 2008 for 1.5 million and later sold to another family in 2013 for 2.1 million dollars ( I would say its history of on screen appearance has something to do with the steep price but I cant say that for sure ). As you can tell it does indeed have the same address number ( 1428 ) the producers wanted to change this number at the beginning but Wes Craven wanted it kept as he felt 1428 was the perfect number to use in the film, which is indeed true can you imagine if it was 1245 Elm or something doesnt quite have the same ring to it lol ( if I had enough money to buy the damn thing I would be on the first flight to LA LOL ) #JIGSAW
