Does this portend good news for the US and other oil buying nations? Nothing like a competition between OPEC and Non-OPEC oil producers to soothe the savage breasts of oil consumers. While I remain skeptical and anxious re the idea that oil producers will let prices linger this low for long, I do enjoy the struggle theyre faced with. Most of the oil producing countries rely, almost solely, on oil revenues to feed their government coffers. They dont relish their current plight but their need for a constant cash flow creates quite a conundrum.
