Does your dog have really dry skin, thinning hair and lethargy? My Mi Sun has been eating Blue Buffalo since she was a puppy at the animal shelter she was stunning! About six months ago her skin got so dry that she had terrible hard, flaky patches on her shoulders and butt and her huge fluffy coat thinned out so she looked like a drowned rat instead of a Sapsaree. Last week I changed her diet, slowly weeding her off the dry food altogether and cooking nutritious meals for her for breakfast and dinner. Her eyes are brighter, her skin is clearing up and her coat is so SOFT and getting fluffier every day. She eats Turkey (not lunch meat, I roast a turkey breast at the beginning of the week), she has vegetables, (no corn) fruits (blueberries, natural applesauce, cranberries) fish oil, sweet potatoes, spinach, eggs, yogurt and cottage cheese. and Yes, I even brought garlic into my house for HER. I make concoctions of whatever I have in the house and either give her a thanksgiving style platter or blend it into a mush. warm it ever so slightly and she just cant get enough. The transformation after one week is amazing, I cant wait to see what shell look like this summer. OH and instead of buying packaged sweet potato treats for her at $6.99 a bag I buy ONE sweet potato for $1.21 and make her fresh ones at home. Saves me a bundle. No preservatives going into her. and She Loves Them!
