Doesnt reality just sometimes really SUCK? lol I just got off the phone with the owner of the Pirate Ship Sultana, which is for sale. Yes.....I CAN afford to purchase her.....no problem there. But reality is, that it needs repairs, and then a new home....which means a LOT of money to spend just to make her ready for the trip.....and then WHERE the hell do I park the Damned thing? Seriously? Soooo cool, and I can afford to buy her, AND foot the repairs, and possibly the shipping, but then NOT even know where she will go! Limitations suck! lol MAYBE.....I were home, I could talk to the towns of Plymouth or Provincetown, and find a way to park her there, but being here in Afghanistan makes all that a pipe dream! I DID make an effort, I suppose that counts for SOMETHING, but I cannot say that makes me feel much better.......wishing, like damn-near everyone in the world, that the lack of money was not an issue. But....it is. VERY cool item, and a potentially LIFE-CHANGING career.......but not such an easy thing to pull off. Crazy dreams and best-intentions dont always make good bed partners! Sigh...... The mind is still churning over ideas/options etc, because I rarely just accept defeat, and choose to fight in a different direction! But this one.....this may be more than I can finagle, thats for sure! LOL Homey
