Dog Breeding 101 - please share with all those who think the AKC is bad and think the only healthy dogs is a mutt from a shelter - For most of us breeding dogs is _not about profit. It is about preserving breeds of dogs. You have bought in to the animal rights agenda that wants to stop _all breeding of animals until they are extinct. Sterilized dogs do not reproduce. I am _so over the greeder rant.. have you ever tried to preserve a high quality, healthy pedigreed purebred? It is _not an inexpensive venture but if we left it to people like you, dogs would eventually become extinct. I realize you think you know it all but I would challenge you to visit the Canine Health Foundation - it is an AKC organization - the _only foundation that studies disease in canines and tries to find genetic markers - effecting cures in ALL dogs.
