Dog care advice: For the past year, I have had problems with Max itching and biting on himself. I think that I have narrowed it down. While he does have some allergies, mainly to pollen or ragweed, I am taking a guess that during this period of time I had him on Trifexis--an oral treatment to prevent fleas and heartworms. I have had him off of it for just over a month now and he has taken a 180 degree turn for the better! So, if you are using Trifexis, keep an eye on itching.
