Dogs had a fight today. Just some scratches...no serious injuries. Shawna started it....attacked sprinkles. Saw this coming by how shawna has been acting lately and left detailed instructions what to do to break it up. My bestie, Tina, did just what I said and broke it up quickly. Shawna attacked sprinkles and then sugar jumped in attacking Sprinkles. Sugar was pulled out and the other two stopped but then shawna went for sprinkles again. Sprinkles stopped when told and shawna was crated (and still is). The pit bull is NOT the problem here....she stops when told. Its the herding dogs that start the fights....wont listen and wont stop. I have sprinkles and sugar back together again already no problem but I DONT TRUST SHAWNA. She will remain crated tonight while I figure out best way to handle this. Sprinkles has already forgiven shawna and touched noses through crate but sugar took a while to stop shaking and has not attempted to approach shawna. Diego (chi) was not involved....went in his crate until over and then tends to their scratches. He did just chew on a pillow so is crated too. Oh these youngsters are problem children.
