Dogwatch No. 943 Combating Rural Crime 1. Land Rover Recovered The land rover which was stolen in Aylesbury as reported in Dogwatch 942 has been recovered by police in a collision in Aylesbury. 2. Labrador Spotted A member oif Dogwatch spotted a black labrador wandering down the B480 just outside Stadhampton, heading towards Watlington, on 21st August. The dog was described as friendly, and wearing a collar with no tag. It looked exhausted and took off down a farm track behind Rufford Farm.. 3. Suspicious Vehicle Hampshire police have asked for our help in finding a suspicious vehicle that has been seen just over the border. It is a white Peugeot Partner Van VRN NV60R##. This has been seen in several locations specifically the Hook and Mattingley areas trying to sell chainsaws to people.The police are looking into this so if you see it touting for business please call it in as they would like to have a chat with the occupants! 4. Stolen tractor A John Deere 6630 tractor was stolen from land near Streatley recently. The VRN is OU12DZO. This may have been parked up somewhere prior to being moved onwards so please keep an eye open for it. 5. Missing Patterdale A small black Patterdale terrier with white markings went missing on Tuesday 13th August whilst being walked in woods near Lower Basildon. The owners have searched extensively and now suspect she has been stolen. She is microchipped and had a red tartan collar on when lost. Cassie is 6 or 7 but looks very old as she is black with a lot of grey on her face and some on her body.She is docked.
