Doing P90X and Insanity at the same time. Its like doing P90X doubles, except your extra cardio workout is Insanity, and instead of doing the cardio in the morning I am doing them after my P90X routine. I bought a heart rate monitor, which I think is very important!! Good to know your heart rate zone so you dont over do it, or stroke out :P I am ending the workouts completely drenched, but feeling like a million bucks! I rest up during the day, do some stretches or Tai Chi or Qi Gong, so I am feeling pretty ready for my night workouts. I dont double up though, like my Tuesdays are P90X plyometrics so I dont do Insanitys Plyo cardio on that day. I sub it for something lighter. One complaint I would have about Insanity for anyone doing it, is the lack of stretches. They start you out in a warm up but ramp it up to high speed before stretches over the course of three sets. I would highly recommend stretching really good before you begin. My calf muscles and shins were pretty tight and sore by the time I got to the stretch portion of the plyo. Overall, I am starting to enjoy Insanity, a lot. It really flies by and is half over before you know it. Today with the push ups on Insanity I skimped them only doing a couple because Monday night is chest shoulders and triceps on 90x, and those usually really wipe my upper body out completely. Instead of looking forward to my 90 day being up, I am looking forward to doing another 90 days on P90X. Rome wasnt built in a day.
