Doing a survey on what type of dog food you are feeding. Does it contain fish meal, Salmon or salmon meal, or Menhaden fish ? Please read your ingredients carefully. Next question have you had issues with eye irritations? 3rd question are you having misses, resorbtions, small litters, higher than normal mortality in neonates or low sperm counts in males? It has recently come to light that almost all fish meal is now imported and it is being preserved with ethyxoquin before it is sent to the dog food manufacturer. THe manufacturer does not have to put it on the label as they are not adding this ingredient to the food. Most at risk are the mid range & higher end foods as fish meal is a good source of digestible meat protein. Please check with your dog food manufacturer to see where any seafood is sourced from. Pro Plan web site does not know where their fish meal originates. Many foods not labeled with fish as the primary source of protein will have it listed farther down the ingredient list.
