Doing happy dance. Saw Dermatologist, Chief Resident and person in training today to scour my body for any issues. No issues declare all three. I heard Chief Res. briefing the Derm. on my case and he says Yes, I know exactly who you are taking about. Any concerns? None. Id like to keep it that way. Then off to wait forever to see the surgeon for my 2 year follow up. They always run late, I have accepted that because to see a top doc and his incredibly thorough nurse, you have to wait. I know I have run over on my time so much and no rush-you are gold the entire time they are with you. So, I met with the nurse and she made sure my emotions and mental health were in a good place. We talked about the down days and ways to handle them. We chatted about life while she examined me top to bottom. She is beyond thorough. Also got a full size bottle of a really expensive sunscreen and a hug. As I was turning the corner to leave, I heard her telling the surgeon that she absolutely loves me and is so glad Im doing so well and that I am such a positive person. If she only knew me several years ago!!! She is also encouraging me to make Nemos story more public. She says she tells it to patients all the time. And we just got a phone call that Dave is a finalist for a CocaCola contest at the Patriots so we have to get more info about that....grand prize has something to do with Boston!!! Fantastic day!!!
