Doing this thing --building the RMBC & ACofC-- is taking hard - TopicsExpress

Doing this thing --building the RMBC & ACofC-- is taking hard work, dedication and effort, much of it from people who are largely unknown, unseen. Two such supporters whom Im about to remove from the shadows and place into the spotlight are Brian and Patricia Watson. One wet, soggy Colorado night about 6 weeks ago the Watsons generously opened their home in the Denver area for a private event to help grow exposure and support of the American Conservatives of Color. Brian even brought in my friend the Runaway Slave, Reverend C.L. Bryant to deliver one of his usual, inspirational messages. Despite the Transylvania-like weather we had a fantastic turnout, great food, awesome night. The Watsons did it for one reason. They recognize the importance of the mission & understand that, like anything worth doing, its not free. Airplane tickets dont grow in trees and the bills dont magically pay themselves. Ive said many times, There are those called to go, there are those called to send those called to go. Both are necessary. Thank you to the Watsons and ALL of our supporters around the nation who have heard and answered the call to help do the sending. https://youtube/watch?v=R0N0J79XViw This is a powerful six minutes. For those in Colorado if you missed the Watson in-home, or even if you were there & would like another dose, our supporters Heidi and Jason Ganhal will be hosting a similar private event on Oct. 30th in Broomfield County. Details can be found here: acofc/doggone. Please get your tickets, join us for a fabulous night, and know that you dollars are going to support some very, very critical work.
