Dolph Ziggler vs. Cesaro Since failing to defeat Sheamus for the United States title at Night of Champions, the Swiss Superman has focused his attention on the Intercontinental Championship, currently held by WWEs resident Showoff, Dolph Ziggler. A recent episode of SmackDown saw Ziggler retain his title by pinning Cesaro, whose foot was underneath the bottom rope. It was a controversial conclusion to the bout, one that had some questioning whether or not Cesaro would have won the title had the referee not have botched the decision. With the two stars continuing their interactions in the wake of that match, putting them together at Hell in a Cell would not only result in an amazing midcard bout but would help with the restoration of legitimacy and credibility to the once-prestigious title.
