Domestic violence awareness Month events All Month Look for the red silhouettes being displayed in local businesses, visit our Empty Place a the Table exhibit, and help us Break the silence by speaking out to End the violence. October 13th Tune in to 95.3 WDNH for radio show at 7am October 12-18 Paint the town purple- incorporate purple in your business, such as crating a window display using purple clothing or create a purple food special. October 17th- Free seminar on Workplace Response to Domestic Violence from 6-8pm at the chamber of Commerce, Honesdale to register call the Greater Honesdale Partnership at 253-5492 Oct 18th Wear Purple to honor victims of domestic violence. Oct 18th Jeans and Jewels benefit dance and silent auction held at Erhardts Waterfront Resort 6pm appetizer and cocktail hour, 7pm buffet dinner. Please call 253-4401 for tickets or information.
