My friend Aaron gave me one of her CDs two weeks ago and I havent been able to listen to anything else since. She says in one interview, I love to write music that other people of color, women, queer folks can relate to because theres a lot of stuff on the radio that we cant really relate to or thats pretty offensive or difficult to listen to. So writing pop music for people like me is something that Ill never stop doing. This is one of my favorites but to be truthful, theyre sort of all favorites. Her albums are on bandcamp, too, if you want to listen to (or buy) them in their entirety.
