Don Ferguson 12 h This weeks episode continues the Marathon area dive sites! Skip over to THE BARGE, a wreck you can swim through, clouded by fish, in 20 of water. Then ease seaward to the 4 KIDS SHRIMPBOAT WRECK, on the 60 shelf. Later zoom over to DELTA SHOAL, home to outstanding coral formations and a trio of interesting wrecks including the DELTA METAL WRECK, an iron steamship from the late 1800s in 20 of water, the nearby IVORY WRECK, a slave ship from the early 1700s and THE NORTH AMERICA, a 3 masted, square-rigged schooner that went down in 15 feet of water in 1842. Then its off to SOMBRERO REEF, marked by a beautiful 142 tall lighthouse, in service since 1858. Top off the day with a visit to THE OLD SEVEN MILE BRIDGE RUBBLE, in 110 of water about 3 miles west of SOMBRERO REEF.
