Donald Patriquin, the composer of the French choral masterpiece Jentends le moulin, watched my YouTube music video remix of his song on Halloween!!! ^_^ ^_^ I was SO excited when I saw the comment that he wrote beneath the video: Hey John - this is really fun! Thanks so much for doing it. I heard things Id not heard before - Donald Patriquin :) And then I replied with this comment tonight: Thank you so, so much, Donald!!! :D :D I was truly thrilled & honored to read your comment on Halloween! I had such a blast recording this instrumental remix of your choral masterpiece in 2009...& creating this YouTube music video of optical illusions to accompany the audio recording last year! And I absolutely LOVED accompanying 3 different choirs on Jentends in the last 9 years (jr. high choir in 2005, high school choir in 2007, & community choir in 2013)! Its such a challenging, irresistible piece for both the choir AND the pianist...brilliantly written from start to finish!! Bravo!
