Donald Sterling is Dropping His Lawsuit Against the NBA and Says Hes Moving On DONALD STERLING is dropping his $1 billion lawsuit against the NBA, and wont stand in the way of the sale of the L.A. Clippers to former Microsoft boss STEVE BALLMER. Sterling was asked about the sale Tuesday night at a benefit for a homeless charity, and he said, quote, I feel fabulous, I feel very good. Everything is just the way it should be, really. It may have worked out differently, but its good. Its all good. He added, quote, Im OK, Im OK. Is the NBA OK? Im not sure about that. Is Adam Silver OK? Im sure hes OK. He also said hes going to, quote, move on. In light of Sterlings change of heart, the NBA canceled a meeting where the rest of the owners were supposed to vote on whether to kick him out. But they still need to vote to approve the sale of the team to Ballmer.
