Donald Trump posted some truly absurd anti-vaxx bullshit on his page. This was my reply. Donald J. Trump, you are an idiot to the highest order of magnitude. Vaccines do not cause autism and every research project to find a correlation has failed. The only people continuing to spread this tripe are paid Hollywood bimbos with either no degrees or degrees in fields far removed from any scientific training. The reason we see an increase in autism is because we understand it better and we know how to identify it in ways we couldnt just a generation ago. That, coupled with new definitions and updates to medical diagnostic books, is why there are more people labeled with autism than in the past. If we use your argument, one might say something equally stupid and uncompelling. Something like, My child ate spaghetti and garlic bread the night before she was diagnosed with autism. Therefore, spaghetti and garlic bread cause autism. Do us all a favor and stick to doing what you do best -- overcompensating for something in your life with your incessant berating and bullying, and buying things; science is not your niche.
