Donation and Volunteer work. These are kind of burdened things for high school students. However, if we think in different point of view, high school times might be last chance to accomplish those things. When we get into universities and firms, there will be less time than now. Therefore, I decided to do something valuable, ‘campaign at school‘. There are so many organizations like UNICEF, Save the children, which are working for children in poverty area. Among them, Good neighbors made the chance for my wish. Do you know about the “hopebag making”? My campaign is one part of it. This campaign’s title is “Be aware!”, and its goal is to make high school students know about how many children in the world are uneducated. Even now, many children, especially African children are discriminated in many parts. What I want to introduce is the ‘education’ part. Because of poverty and child labor, many kids are deprived of right to be educated. Campaign as a high school student is not that much easy and highly effective to the real problem. However, doing these activities makes so many other students to be awared. I’m now on my way to achieve my goal. By survey, picket, short speech and video. And by this writing, I want to introduce the video that I made, and please attach the facebook page too. Thank you. 기부와 자원봉사활동. 이런 일들은 고등학생들에게는 상당히 부담스러운 일입니다. 하지만, 다른 관점에서 보면, 고등학교 시절이 어쩌면 이런 활동들을 위한 마지막 기회일 수도 있습니다. 대학에 입학하고, 회사에 취직하면 지금보다 훨씬 시간이 없을 것이기 때문입니다. 그래서, 저는 무언가 가치있는 일을 하기로 결심했습니다. 바로, “학교 내에서의 캠페인 활동”입니다. 현재 세계에는 유니세프, 세이브더칠드런과 같이 빈곤지역의 아이들을 돕는 활동을 하는 단체들이 매우 많습니다. 그중에서도, 굿네이버스가 저의 결심을 이뤄주었습니다. 희망가방 만들기 활동에 대해 아시나요? 제 캠페인은 그 활동의 일부입니다. 이 캠페인의 제목은 “Be aware!” 이며, 고등학생들이 전세계의 얼마나 많은 어린이들이 교육받지 못하고 있는지에 대한 심각성을 알게 하는 것이 목표입니다. 지금도, 많은 아이들, 특히 아프리카의 아이들은 많은 부분에서 차별을 당하고 있습니다. 제가 소개하고 싶은 것은 교육부분에서의 차별입니다. 빈곤과 아동노동으로, 아이들은 교육받을 권리를 박탈당하고 있습니다. 고등학생으로서 진행하는 캠페인은 쉽지도 않고, 실제 문제에 크게 영향력이 있는 것도 아닙니다. 하지만 이러한 활동들을 하는 것은 많은 학생들의 무지를 해결합니다. 저는 지금 제 목표를 이루기 위한 길을 가고 있습니다. 설문조사, 피켓, 짧은 연설과 동영상을 통해서 말입니다. 그리고 이 글을 통해, 제가만든 영상을 소개하고 싶습니다. 또 앞으로 저의 많은 활동들이 업로드 될 페이지도 방문해주세요. 감사합니다.
