Done! Completed the race across texas in 6 days. Finished 5th. My bucket list is gonna kill me before its over. Friday was by far the hardest of the 6 days. Into the wind, uphill all day.almost 12 hours to do 100 miles, crazy. I have come to the conclusion that west Texas hills are really just one hill that starts in Texarkana and extends to Mexico. I had not one problem with my bike through the rain, the cold, and sketchy terrain, thanks Bear Mountain for helping me put together the perfect ride and thanks Matthew C.
