Done done done done done with exams! Time to write a few more assignments, enjoy rousing bouts of merriment with my friends and family, and then begin the journey back to the U.S.A. This year has been incredible. Just a few of the developments from this year: I have made lifelong friends with people who are as kind as they are brilliant, have seen more of the world than I ever thought possible, caught a serious case of wanderlust, discovered that I can be self-sufficient and consistently happy, learned about so many countries, cultures, and events (more than Ive ever learned in a class), and rejuvenated my soul. This year has further encouraged my ever-enduring optimism and has also given me a healthy dose of realism. Also, it made me appreciate the the advisers and educators at Ohio State. I never realized quite how lucky Buckeyes are until I left. But most importantly, this year has strengthened my desire to explore, to learn, and to understand. I know its a few days early, because Im not leaving just yet, but I wanted to say thank you to everyone who has been the amazing support system I had this year (both at home and abroad).
