Donna VekicDonna Vekic of Croatia won the BMW Malaysian Open 2014 at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 20 April 2014. The win made Donna Vekic richer by 43000 dollars. BMW Malaysian Open 2014 was held from 14 to 20 April 2014. Donna Vekic (ranked 95) beats Dominika Cibulkova of Slovakia (ranked 10) 5-7, 7-5 and 7-6 in the final. This was her’s first maiden Womens Tennis Association (WTA) singles title. Recently, Vekic had lost to Cibulkova at the Indian Well Open, United States of America. She was a finalist in Tashkent open 2012 and Birmingham Open 2013. In Womens Doubles, Timea Babos of Hungary and Chan Hao Ching of China won Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) title in the BMW open Malaysian Open. Babos and Chan defeated Zheng Saisai of China and Chan Yung Jan of China 6-3, 6-4 in the final. This is Babo’s first doubles title of the season since victory in Sydney in January 2014. It is third career title for Hao Ching.
