#DonorMilkNeeded A Wise Mama asks: Hi! I need your help. My best friends son has hemophilia, one of the worst types, and hes not doing too well at the moment. My friend has been pumping for him for a year and a half and has suffered numerous bouts of mastitis and yeast infections which have seriously diminished her supply. Breast milk has been helping her son heal and has been keeping major bleeds at bay. recently it was found out that he is allergic to the newer medications that stop his bleeds and she has had to revert back to an almost ancient form of medicine of which isnt working well and isnt controlling his bleeds. The stress off this, ontop of everything else, has rendered her almost dried up with no stash (when her son was little and doing well she had an oversupply and donated tons of milk to other families). She has tried everything, and I mean everything, to be able to make more Milk and nothing is helping. I am asking if you could please help us find Dairy and gluten free milk. The donor must also not take any ibuprofen or blood thinners. We are on Long Island and will travel anywhere in the five boroughs and on Long Island to find him milk. Please please help. We have also reached out to other sites with no luck. We are also will if to pick up milk from upstate and central New York and pay for shipping from anywhere. We are desperate to help her
