Dont allow your emotions to cause you to abuse food, been there done that. Emotions cause 75% of overeating. Distract yourself until the urge to eat subsides. Exercise is the best and healthiest distraction but Im telling you what I know from 30 yrs of experience(being overweight) ...when emotionally going through keep the refrigerator closed and stay away from the fast food joints.
