Dont anyhow-ly use coins, here’s what the Currency Act says: 1.) If you want to pay large amounts of money, you have to do so with $1 coins. 2.) 50-cent coins can be used for the payment of a sum not more than $10. 3.) 20 cents, 10 cents, 5 cents and 1 cent can only be used to pay sums not more than $2 4.) If you have given written notice that you would not accept coins (or even notes) as payment, the coins (and even notes) cannot be used for payment. In short - just don’t be childish.
