Dont be nervous at the start of this post, it gets better... Our little friend Hazel went missing on the streets of Roxbury. Our feeders were distraught. We decided that whether or not we had foster space for these two, that they had to come in. We hoped we werent too late for Hazel. Several days (and tears - ha!) later, she showed up and we were ecstatic. We caught Vincent right away, but Hazel is a bit brighter than he, and a little more savvy, so we had some difficulty. After Vincent had left, she wouldnt come near us, and she would not go near a trap. Finally, we tricked her and got her with what is called a drop trap. Last night we reunited the two best friends and they were over the moon!! Vincent could not stop purring and draping himself all over Hazel. She is feeling a tiny bit timid but they are exceeding our expectations, ten-fold, from how we imagined their home adjustment would be. They will be fully checked by our vets, and when they are ready to embark on their next journey together, we will work to find them the home that is perfect for them.
