Dont do this at home! (or anywhere else, for that matter) I managed to knock the quart can of trim paint off the top of the 5 stepladder. It landed topside up, and was still 3/4 full after the moments of excitement. Using a pair of putty knives, I managed to salvage about half of what sloshed out of the can . . . Except for the ghost outlines in the cracks between the floorboards, there is very little record of the paintfall. And, I have matching brown paint at hand, to complete the coverup. The mottled coloration of the floor reflects both the decades of foot traffic and the shadow of the bed from the ceriling light fixture.
