Dont fall for healthy labeling thats a marketing lie. Jif peanut - TopicsExpress

Dont fall for healthy labeling thats a marketing lie. Jif peanut butter is one example. Ignore the front labels! Ingredients: ROASTED PEANUTS, SUGAR, CONTAINS 2% OR LESS OF: MOLASSES, FULLY HYDROGENATED VEGETABLE OILS (RAPESEED AND SOYBEAN), MONO & DIGLYCERIDES, SALT. Omega 3 Jif pb contains tilapia gelatin, citric acid & tocopherol. Jif Natural pb contains: PEANUTS, SUGAR, PALM OIL, SALT, MOLASSES. 1⃣ Added white refined sugar from, most likely, gmo sugar beets. 2⃣ Molasses-by product of refined sugar beets which is literally stripped of nutrients. 3⃣ The use of the completely altered rapeseed (also known as canola oil!) or soybean (75% is gmo) is atrocious in pb-both are completely genetically modified. Avoid soy at all costs especially if its GMO or unfermented! Both rapeseed and soybean oil are hydrogenated oils & linked to heart dz, inflammation, hypertension, obesity, Alzheimers, Parkinsons & cancer. In fact, during the synthetic hydrogenation process, metals are used as catalysts to extend shelf life. These include the likes of nickel, aluminum or platinum. 😳 Wonder why theyre linked to neurodegenerative disorders? It is best to avoid pb that substitutes palm oil as well. Although not nearly as harmful as soy or rapeseed (canola) oil, it is still very high in saturated fats and should be consumed in moderation. It is also an environmental disaster. 4⃣ Tilapia gelatin in the omega 3 pb-just be aware if youre vegetarian/vegan! 5⃣ Tocopherol and citric acid can also be added to sow forms of Jifs pb. It is mostly likely synthetic Vitamin E, made in a lab using the reverse image called an enantiomer. (DL-tocopherol) Citric acid, could also be synthesized unless specified otherwise. Both made in a lab. Look for pb that has one ingredient: peanuts. No added sugar. No added preservatives. Even better choices are hazelnut, almond (bitter if you can find it), & sunflower seed. Why? Many nuts can become contaminated with a potent fungus called aflatoxins. Aflatoxins are potent liver carcinogens produced by the Aspergillum parasite mold, which grow on corn, PEANUTS, cottonseed, milk, walnuts, pistachios & Brazil nuts. Cont in comments 👇
