Here are the Sheldon Merry Money facts: •$100,000 in Merry Money will be available for sale for ONE DAY ONLY – November 10 (7am-7pm): •Merry Money purchases will be limited to $2,000 per household/business. •Must be spent in Sheldon at participating SCDC businesses. •A 10% discount will be given on Sheldon Merry Money at the time of purchase. (The Sheldon Marketing Committee has again agreed to pay 5% of the discount or up to $5,000. This would leave the same 5% discount to be absorbed by the merchants, as in the past). •Must be spent by December 24, 2014 – no refunds. •No change or cash back at time of purchase. •This is NOT a loan. Consumers will purchase Merry Money at a discount, with cash up front. •At the time of purchase, the customer will receive a list of the participating SCDC businesses at which Sheldon Merry Money can be spent.
