Dont get me wrong but as usual Im probably gonna say something to be controversial. I do think that Cancer Research is a good thing and needs support. However, I do seem to remember that not so long ago there was a drug called Herceptine that apparently could cure or help to cure Breast Cancer. It was a postcode lottery as to whether sufferers could get treated with this on the NHS because of the expense. In my opinion money shouldnt come into it. If a drug works it should be given to those who need it, regardless of where they live or how rich of poor they are. So my point is, that although I agree with research and finding a cure for cancer, once a cure is found, will it be available to the poor as well as to the rich???? It certainly needs to be!!!!!!!
