Dont get me wrong, obesity can be caused by thyroid problems but 99% of people who are obese, are that way because the eat too much and they eat the wrong foods. This statement coming from a 6 foot 1 inch, 240 lb male who falls just inside the obese range according to the medical charts. Now most people consider obese to be the person who struggles to walk and not the person like me who at age 50, could still man handle any railroad tie and would have little trouble handling myself physically in an altercation. Nevertheless, overweight people in America, does seems to be at an all time high. If liberals could have their way here in America, obesity will be covered under Obamacare and youll be able to get government benefits just because you indulge in bad foods and have trouble getting around.
