Dont go to church to fulfill a duty. Dont go to criticize. Dont go because you feel obligated, dont want to be out of the gossip loop, etc, etc. Dont withhold your attendance due to worship style, what the preacher did or didnt do, what someone said, where someone sat, because your feelings are hurt, because its a bunch of hypocrites, etc, etc, etc. If you engage in these behaviors, you are going/not going for the wrong reasons. Its not about you. Its not about them. Its about God. Go to worship God, to have a moment of thankfulness, to get a hug, a smile, to be part of a community with an intentional purpose. What you put into it is what you will get out of it. You, and you alone, are responsible for your own response, feelings, intentions, and overall spiritual health. Its churchin time. God opens the doors to Gods home and Gods heart. Go to have a visit with God. You are loved.
