Dont know if anyone will still be up to see this, but I thought I would share this anyways since I havent seen another admin do so. This event, which the team is calling the Breakaway Run, is the teams first event of its kind. I find this hard to believe considering that our Wild have been around for over 14 years now. For those wondering, Im definitely considering participating in the 5K race (3.1 miles) that theyll have. They will also be running a 10K race (6.2 miles), and a 1-mile race. Proceeds from these races will benefit the Minnesota Wild Foundation. As you can see from the photo, its on Saturday, Sept. 20th, and registration is now open! The sooner you register, the less you have to pay! Registration costs: 1-mile race: $20 (if registered by August 11-17), $25 (if registered by August 18-Sept, 17), $35 (registering on site day of race (Sept. 20) from 7-8 AM) 5K: $30 (if registered by August 11-17), $35 (if registered by August 18-Sept. 17), $45 (registering on site on day of race from 7-8 AM) 10K: $40 (if registered by August 11-17), $45 (if registered by August 18-Sept. 17), $55 (registering on site on day of race from 7-8 AM) Who would want to participate in this race (5K) with me? I would love to possibly have some of the fellow admins or even just some who follow the page to join me! For those wanting to race in the 5K, it start at 8:45 the morning of Sept. 20, after the other 10K and 1-mile races at 8:30 and 8:35 respectively.
