Dont miss a family event this Wednesday! Advent Workshop for Families This Wednesday, November 12 Advent is a season observed in Christian churches as a time of waiting and preparation for the celebration of the birth of Jesus. Advent is an anglicized version of the Latin word adventus, meaning coming. The season of Advent starts on the fourth Sunday before December 25, which for 2014 is November 30, 2014. This Wednesday make plans to attend our Advent Workshop event for families. Well have the workshop in the Fellowship Hall around 6:35 PM (immediately following Wed. Night Dinner). We will learn about Advent and make wreaths for folks of all ages. There will be kid-friendly activities, too! This is a delightful way for our families to prepare our hearts and homes for this meaningful season. Tell your friends!
