Dont play peek-a-boo with your babies. Stop making happy faces. Only smile if youre actually happy. If you really do feel joyful, then go ahead and smile. Otherwise, cut it out. Youre causing disturbances on the astral plane. Listen, I have a job in customer service. Im sick and tired of having to force a smile to make people feel comfortable. Sometimes, I just let others gaze at the terrible glory of my normal, resting face, and some of them leave the place looking like theyve been abused. It makes me feel sad inside, that appearances are so important to people. Dont you realize we all live in the same house? Were all married. We all understand each other. Were all human. No one is a stranger. Its not necessary to uphold a fake appearance, and treat others like aliens, scrutinizing their faces and their body language so that you can formulate your own special, personal interpretation of another persons life. As if that other person cant feel the same exact happiness, sadness, anger, joy, and everything else that you yourself can feel, just because you dont know what their name is. Sorry to complain. I just think we can all be a little bit more mature and professional in dealing with each other.
