Dont preach against sin... ...Just show them Christ This is an emerging pentecostal culture which lacks the support of scripture. Christ came to defeat the power of sin! So how can one preach Christ without preaching against sin? When you preach, REPENT! You are automatically asking for a CHANGE IN DIRECTION. For people to stop doing something(sin) and start doing something(righteousness) else. This school of thought also believes that since the gospel is goodnews, it should not make people sad. I strongly disagree! Most of us do not like taking medication/injection when we are sick. This is because the medication is painful/bitter but the effect brings healing which is GOODNEWS. That the gospel is goodnews is not because of how it makes people FEEL when they hear it but what it DOES to their lives/souls (deliverance, healing, reconcilliation, etc). #ChurchMedication
