• Dont take one another for granted: Your key today is to never take one another for granted. I know I have been guilty of this at times. You know you get married, figure each other out to some degree and then just believe nothing will change and your spouse will always be there for you. This is a mistake that can have terrible consequences. When you take someone for granted you can have a tendency to stop showing your appreciation to one another. You start assuming that this will continue forever and stop diligently working on the relationship. You can let you affection, respect and love start to wane. When this happens you can drift apart and let the love tanks get empty. You know what? Empty hearts will then fill with hurt and bitterness and start hurting one another and before you know it you two will crash the relationship and find yourselves alone. I can tell you no one plans on their wedding day for this outcome but this is where you are heading the moment you shift your marriage car into neutral and start coasting and taking each other for granted.
