Dont think that just because you have lived your life as a person a peace and non violence that there would never come a time when you would not pick up that brick and pitch it through a window. That you would never pick up that pitchfork and join that angry mob. Dont set your jaw and say, I would never loot, I would never set a fire, I would never do what those people are doing, its just wrong! Never say never, because everyone has a trigger. Everyone has a tipping point where they get backed into a corner and there is nothing left for them to do but to come out fighting and throwing rocks. In case you missed it, our Nation, our home is being locked down tight. Our freedom of speech, our freedom of movement, our freedom of dissent, is being met with violence from our masters who think they own us. Our Brothers and Sisters of color in this country have suffered this kind of abuse for ages and the Civil Rights Movement only gave them a short reprieve. They have endured right under our very noses and we have turned away because maybe we didnt want to acknowledge the widening chasm that separates us because we knew deep down that we would be next. Were turning away because of fear and confusion. Vilifying those who march and who put themselves at risk for us all seems to be a fearful response. All who cant march, all who wont throw that stone, all who watch and criticize, who dont appreciate the risk they are taking to say enough is enough and we wont take it anymore, are forgetting the changes that were made in our past because someone decided to get up off their knees. There is a great movement all over the world of people who have lost that fear and who are marching. Who have found their voice, who have decided to leave the safety of their comfort zones and hold the hands of their brothers and sisters and march for the freedom of us all. And when the dust settles, and there will be dust, there will be chaos, there will be a change! Because change cannot come without chaos. There must be a breaking down of the current and a replacing with a new. And when that change comes you will have the protesters, the demonstrators, the brave souls who march against Tyranny, to thank for it.
