Dont usually write stuff like this on here but this affected Fred !! Last week i bought the last 3 bales of haylege that a local feed merchant had in stock, when asked when they would be getting some in again they replied sometime next week!! (this week). My friend rand them on monday this week and they said they could deliver for us on thursday (which worked out fine as we had just enough feed/haylege to last until then). yesterday morning (thursday) we rang to see what time it would be delivered.....they couldnt specify a time but said it would be after 1pm , at 2pm we rang again just to see if they could shed any light on a time for delivery to which they replied they dont know and they cant contact the delivery driver!! at 5pm we rang again to be told the same thing but someone would ring us back if they could find out (at this point the horses wanted to be in, but had no feed/haylege to come in to!!) at 6pm (when the feed merchant closes) after waiting 5 hrs i rang for the last time to be told it would come on friday and it was down for possible delivery thursday!!!!! this was definately NOT what we were told, even if this were the case why werent we informed at any other point during the day whilst other feed merchants were open?horrendous service and all i can say is i will be getting my animal feed from s&j petfood,bata or chris kays in the future!! p.s luckily we have a friend who came to the rescue and lent us some haylege for the night :)
