Dont worry if you missed making auditions yesterday for BULLSHOT CRUMMOND, you have another chance tonight at 7pm! BULLSHOT CRUMMOND: A Comedy in Two Acts by Playwrights Ronald E. House, Diz White, Alan Shearman, John Neville-Andrews, and Derek Cunningham. It is a parody of low-budget 1930s detective movies, that typifies British heroism at its most ridiculously funny levels. A Teutonic villain and his evil mistress crash their plane in the English countryside and kidnap Professor Fenton, who has discovered a formula for making synthetic diamonds. Bullshot Crummond is called to the rescue! Director - Susan Demers ----- AUDITION TIMES: Monday, November 18th at 7pm Al actor are volunteers. All rehearsals are at the Theatre. Auditions will be Readings from the Script. Performances will be January 16th to 26th, 2014 ----- Cast of Characters:Characters: Hugh “Bullshot” Crummond, 30s – 40s; the archetypal British officer who fought in the trenches of France, laughs at danger and doesn’t know the meaning of the word fear; thinks of himself as a dashing young dare-devil – in reality he has a deluded sense of his own capabilities Miss Rosemary Fenton, 20-40; an English rose of the most overdone genteel upbringing one can imagine; the type of woman who will agree with anything a man says as she believes men to be superior to women Otto Von Brunno, 30-50; classic B-movie teutonic villain. This actor also plays: Salvatore Scalicio, a character reminiscent of someone out of The Untouchables whose only purpose is to give the actor a chance to do a quick change routine. Lenya Von Brunno 25-45; Otto’s mistress; their only basis for a relationship is that they both worship evil; she also has an irrepressible desire for Crummond. The fifth actor plays many roles: Algy Longwort, an upper class twit who delights in Crummond’s every adventure; Professor Rupert Fenton, Rosemary’s father, kidnapped by the Von Brunnos; a condescending Waiter at the Carlton; a Country Policeman; Inspector Scabbard/Wolfgang Schmidt, the Inspector is Schmidt in disguise, and he changes between the two instantly; and Marovitch, a hunchback with an eye patch and a limp.
