Dont you just love the breeding season!!! I was making a special order soap today.Couldnt help but notice the scenery from my workshop. Goats laying in the sun relaxing, with the hills in the background. Started to get ready for the next batch of soap, some wedding soaps for an upcoming wedding. Looked out the window and there was chaos!!! Goats running everywhere and there in the middle of them a BIG, SMELLY, BUCK chasing the girls.He was snorting and pawing the ground. Had to send an SOS to Colin as he wasnt home today. Culprit is in solitary confinement tonight til his yard gets fixed. There is a small part of the fence behind where the gate opens back that doesnt have electric fence on it. Amazing how they know! He went straight through the fence and over another two fences to get to the girls he wanted. I have written the names of the girls that may have come in contact with him and the date in my goat book. In 5 months time there may be the pitter patter of little hooves.
