Dont you just love the internet. I was contacted today (through my web site) by a guy called Jerry Bailey of Top Spot Designs. He wrote: My name is Jerry and Im a local website designer. Im reaching out to see if youre satisfied with your current website. Are there any changes or improvements that youd like to make? Were always looking to help quality businesses such as yourself. I look forward to hearing back from you! So I looked up his company. Clearly geography is not his strong suit as he seems to think New York is local to Doncaster. So I replied, What a load of unprofessional nonsense. You are not local, you are not even based in the same country. You do not even know what my business is. You are merely a spam merchant. If your design work is as good as your research then you are fooked! Why on Gods earth would I want to employ a liar? NOT impressed. On the other hand, if youd like my friend in Nigeria to reinvent your business model, just send me your bank details and well take it from there... Somehow I dont think hell take up my generous offer.
