Don’t Kill 762 MW Storage Project for the sake of 37 MW नेताहरुले खतम् पारे, अनि हामि Engineers ले के हेरि बसेको? I was searching the right information to protest this nonsense act of the GoN. I have been to this valley and has observed that it has a good potential of storage. Because of the wide valley and mild slope with favorable geology, it is a good place for high dam/reservoir. I believe that the valley also doesn’t have much inhabitants. As we have very limited sites for reservoir, there is no way to kill this beautiful site. Moreover, because of the significant sediment load in Tamor, it is very risky to create a small reservoir. Please forget about smaller dam and reservoir in Tamor. I have reviewed the proposed 37? MW Kabeli Project, which is not that attractive. So killing 3152 Unit from reservoir to gain just 215 units from the reservoir again is a very bad decision for the country. The GoN should compensate the expenses made so far by BPC and should protect this site. And the person taking such a decision without any justifications (if any) should be questioned/ subject to legal action so that the future generation will be aware of such nonsense deeds.
