Don’t cut off your daffodil leaves until they are yellow – - TopicsExpress

Don’t cut off your daffodil leaves until they are yellow – they need to give the bulbs as much nutrition as possible so that they can form next year’s flowers. Although tulips are best treated as annuals in most cases, you can give them the best chance of flowering next year by cutting off the stem once the flower has died and the leaves have turned yellow. Lift the bulbs and store them in a cool frost free place until planting time, also look out for mice, they enjoy a good bulb or 10!
