Don’t ever think that you are not gifted, and don’t compare yourself to others and their gifts. Each human is unique and our skills vary. We need each other to function properly as a society. A society cannot thrive if every person had the same skills, gifts and goals. It needs diversity. Imagine if a community was made up only of scholars, or only doctors, or only of politicians. Such a society cannot grow and succeed. The beauty of the Sahaba lies in the diversity of their skills. Some were warriors, some were scholars, some were leaders, some were businessmen and some were farmers. Yet they were all essential for the community to grow into the world leader it eventually became.
