Don’t forget! NCDOT has officially closed Morrisville Parkway - TopicsExpress

Don’t forget! NCDOT has officially closed Morrisville Parkway to traffic between Crabtree Crossing Parkway and Bristol Creek Drive for 7 days starting July 28. This closure is part of the Morrisville Parkway Grade Separation project, and is required to allow NCDOT and railroad contractors to construct a new temporary railroad crossing in order to keep Morrisville Parkway open for much of the construction period. Another closure, lasting approximately 6 months, will occur in 2016. The road re-opening is expected after August 4th – electronic message signs will be in place. These dates may change due to weather and other construction delays, so the Town of Morrisville will be posting updates here, via the Notify Me email lists (bit.ly/1qfUSTC) and social media. During the road closure NCDOT will have a detour route posted, using NC 54, Cary Parkway, High House Road and Davis Drive.
