Don’t miss the Helping Hands Fun Flea Market weekend sale on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 3 and 4, from 8-5, and Sunday, Oct. 5, from 1-4. This is the big sale of all items that have been donated over the past several months and are available in 14 unique departments. Proceeds from this sale by Helping Hands, a local nonprofit, will be donated to Hospice of Yancey Pallative Care and Family Violence Coalition of Yancey. The efforts of more than 40 volunteers, along with all the community donations (thank you!) will make a difference in how people are cared for in this area. Donations from homes in Yancey and other nearby counties have been generous, and the result will be a fantastic sale of items of your home, outdoors, clothing, toys, holidays, and much more. The sale building is located at 70 Hwy 19E Bypass in Burnsville (across from the Glen Raven plant). Overflow parking is located on the lot directly west of the building.
