Doris Christine Berryman Doris Christine Berryman, age 85, of Muscle Shoals, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2014. Visitation will be Sunday, April 13, 2014, 5-7 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. The service will be Monday April 14, 2014, at 10 a.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow at Colbert Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Brother Tom Woods. She was a member of Friendship Freewill Baptist Church, Eastern Star and the Aluminum Workers Local 200. Doris retired from Reynolds Metals after 18-plus years of loyal service. She is preceded in death by her mother, Nettie Brewer; father and stepmother, John and Mildred Eckles; and daughter Cathy Moore. Doris is survived by sons, Tom Berryman, Richard Glen Berryman; daughters, Janice Stenstrom, all of Muscle Shoals; Carolyn Harvey (Ron), of Bidwell, Ohio; brother, Johnny Eckles (Shirley), Jimmy Eckles (Joyce), both of Henderson, Nev.; sisters, Louise Williams, Palatka, Fla., Helen Franklin, of Athens, Ala., Toggie Thompson, of Tuscumbia, Ala., Becky Reilly, of Tempe, Ariz.; eight grandchildren and a host of loving nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Andreas Andy Berryman, Michael Berryman, Grant Stanfield, Tommy McDaniel, Harold Gene McDonald Jr., Charlie Fox, Cody Berryman and Jon McDaniel. Honorary pallbearers are Tom Berryman, Richard Glen Berryman, Darrell McDaniel, Ricky McDaniel and Mark Vandiver. Special thanks to Southern Care Hospice and Felecia Taylor and Misty Wilson, Dr. Loren McCoy and all the staff at Cypress Cove Care & Rehab for the love and care given to our dear mother.
